Boca Raton, Boat Parade36th ANNUAL HOLIDAY BOAT PARADE - SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2012

The Boca Raton Holiday Boat Parade has been a tradition for the past 35 years, with this year’s 36th annual event promoted and organized by the City of Boca Raton, with special support from Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County and Sea Tow Services of Palm Beach County.. The organizations have set a goal of 50 beautifully-decorated boats, entry free of charge, that will make their way south on the Intracoastal Waterway beginning at the Boca Raton-Delray Beach border (C-15 canal), past Spanish River Boulevard, Lake Wyman, Red Reef Park, Silver Palm Park, Camino Real, and ending at the Hillsboro Boulevard Bridge just south of the Palm Beach County line in Broward County.    A spectacular traveling fireworks display will lead the boats down the parade route. Bleacher seating for viewing is available at Red Reef Park located on A1A and Silver Palm Park located on East Palmetto Park Road….The event is made possible through the cooperation of Marine Industries Association of PBC, Sea Tow Services of the Palm Beaches, and the City of Boca Raton.

Last year's additional support came from many contributing sponsors.  1000 OCEAN, Boca Resort & Club, Inland Navigation District, Barry Epstein Associates, Skechers, Kool 105.5fm, Florida Health & Chiropractic Medicine, Patten Family Foundation, Boca Raton Tribune, Chris Evert Charities, Pyrotecnico Family Fireworks, Beverly Hills International, and Aurora Nurses Home Health Care.

Parade officials also invite everyone to participate in the U.S. Marines’ Toys for Tots drive to benefit needy children in our area.  SeaTow boats will be traveling the parade looking for dockside donations.  (If you have toys for dockside pickup, just use a flashing light for a signal.)   Toys may also be brought to each viewing area where Marine trucks will be on site for donations.  Toys may also be dropped off at the Boca Raton Community Center at 150 Crawford Boulevard.
